Laal Bahadur Shastri, the iron man of india.

When the drought came with a stick and hit us hard,

He took a deep breath and stood his ground and raised his small head high.

He smirked at the world and their expectations, and said "Jai Jawan Jai Kishan ".

The slogan was clear , and message touched the sky and painted the country.

The paints color was dipped in courage, valor and pride , the flag was waving high.

On his tiny shoulder , he carried the nation and fellow citizens forward.

When the milk doesnt flowed to the rural and poor house and infant dreamt of it.

Then with the fellow scientists and minister he worked and paved way for the milk.

Hard work paid off and from the milky galaxy , milk river flowed in india.

He became the another bhagirath of India and brought heaven white nector for the india kid.

During drought, when it crushed our crops and food was rare like love these days.

America and others took pity on us and send us the horse wheat with a pride.

Everyone, everything was swallowed by grimness.

Then he took a big step and went on a fast to show the way.

Shastri sent the ballons of pride and hope and asked all to work hard and stay strong.

And instilled the way for green revolution in India and thus made the Country triumph over Pakistan and drought.

Shastri g the Gaj Kesari of india who left us with a mystery.

Before passing through the tunnel he brought back our brothers from neighbouring country.

And made pact with Lanka on the citizenship issue.
